HP runs in-house promotional ads on their websites to inform their visitors about latest sale or offer. They operate websites for different geo that have thousands of product pages. And on those pages, they have multiple placements to show promotional banners.

They needed an ad server that could comprehensively help manage multiple placements without much human intervention. This is when they found AdButler.

HP shows in-house promotional banners to their visitors. By standardising with AdButler for all their Asia-Pacific websites, they can now compare the visitor data without discrepancies. They have approximately 2-3% CTR on their banners.

Using AdButler dashboard, we can now see an average click-through rate of around 3% on our various sites. And for our private store (logged in accounts), this number is sometimes as high as 13%

Schedule and Dayparting

HP team manages hundreds of campaigns based on different geo and placements. A lot of their campaigns (and promotions) are time-sensitive. AdButler’s schedule feature helps them launch campaigns by adding start and end dates - so that they don’t have to worry about showing expired promotions to their users.

Since we manage the Asia-Pacific region, we have hundreds of banners to maintain and AdButler helps us to stay focused and minimize mistakes. I use the scheduler feature a lot. So basically, I schedule ads using AdButler and add start and end dates to them, which saves time and requires less maintenance.

Quick Query Resolution

HP started with AdButler with a few placements - just to test the platform before fully committing to it. Eventually, they liked the AdButler’s software and the support team’s response rate, which led them to use AdButler for more placements (zones).
