AdButler User Accounts
AdButler has the powerful ability to create separate publisher, advertiser and manager accounts. By creating separate accounts you can grant limited access across various sections and features to your clients and staff.
AdButler accounts exist as a one of four types: Administrator, Manager, Advertiser, and Publisher.
Administrator Accounts
The Administrator user is created when you first sign up for AdButler and has access to all aspects of your AdButler account. They are responsible for managing and creating all sub-user accounts. You cannot create additional Administrator accounts.
Manager Accounts
When you create a Manager account, you can choose which aspects of the AdButler account you want to allow the manager access to. This includes access to: none/all/specific publishers, advertisers (allowing assignment to zones they control), active links, geographic targets, media library, none/all/specific statistics. As well, Manager accounts can have the ability to add and manage other manager, advertiser, and publisher accounts. Manager accounts cannot access the Settings tab.
Publisher Accounts
By default, a Publisher account can log into AdButler's interface, see statistics of their publisher section, and grab zone tags from their assigned zones. You can provide additional access privileges that include: the ability to change their password, allow them to approve or deny ads assigned to their zones, or provide them with full administrator privileges that will allow them to access all the tools specific to that Publisher.
Advertiser Accounts
An Advertiser account allows an advertiser to log into AdButler's interface and see statistics for their advertiser section, and retrieve conversion tags. You can provide additional access privileges that include: the ability to change their password, or allow them to schedule new ads through AdButler.
